Prospective Parent Visits

Visitors are very welcome to our provision and this includes prospective parents.   If you would like to view Routes4Life , contact should be made to Angela Spicer, Provision Coordinator on 01708 222366 or by email: office@routes4life.co.uk.

Travel Assistance

Please be aware that applications for home to Routes4Life travel assistance opens in May each year on the Havering website: www.havering.gov.uk/schooltravelassistance.


Parents and carers must complete the application online. The Provision Coordinator at Routes4Life is also able to help with completing the online form or to give advice. 

 Should any parent or carer require a form in an alternative format/language, they should contact the local authority

  Site Accessibility

  • The provision is accessible to students with physical needs and students  using wheelchairs. A lift was installed in December 2017 providing access to Routes4Life which is situated on the first floor.
  • There are accessible toilet facilities on the ground floor with a height adjustable changing bed and a ceiling mounted hoist. 
  • The college minibus has a tail lift facility, enabling all students to access the community.
  • The provision has automated doors at the main Reception.
  • A footpath/pavement along the front of the provision along Hayes Drive and the surrounding roads allows access to the provision on foot directly from local bus routes in Southend Road.
  • Accessible and assistive technology is utilised throughout the provision to enhance the curriculum and to maximise engagement and progress for all.
  • Any new developments are carefully considered to maximise access and equality.

For your information, all phone calls (incoming and outgoing) on the provision phone system are recorded for quality assurance, Data Protection and Safeguarding purposes.



Complaints

If you have any complaint about the provision please speak to the Provision Lead in the first instance.  We welcome your feedback and would alway want to try to resolve any concerns informally.


If you are still unhappy you cam also speak to the Deputy Headteacher.


If you are still unhappy you should complete a formal complaint form (see Complaints Policy). The Headteacher will investigate and will contact you with a response within the stated timescales in the policy.
